Damn thats great water.
We miss you already….
This is Doug Rhodes and the DougRhodes.com gallery in Clarion alley. What a great location for an amazing artist! Drop by and check him out or go online and see his work. Support local art!
It’s amazing who we meet while out and about. This is Davis Hobtetter and his Lovely wife. He was the architect of the the new cruise ship terminal! The building really is a work of art and he assured Popi that there will be plenty of public access and green space.
It was an honor to meet such an accomplished artist. Thank you for the love and support!

We missed the little things about the city,Like the Bushman. This is the Bushman in action at Fishermans wharf. He “Hides” in the bushes and scares the crap out of tourist who all seem to be terrified of a balck man in the bushes. Pretty funny stuff that plays on the underlying racism in this country. Popi always wonders if the the bushman was white if he still would be “scary” Anyway,he makes a fortune and its always fun to watch.
This me ‘Mean mugging” for the camera. Popi call’s this “Scappy dooing” cause I’m not scared of anything! Sometimes I get on one and then any toes around better watch out!
So since Dolores park is so played the fuck out,we are always searching for a better place to drink our beers, and eat chips. We really loved Jefferson sq park before, but now after being upgraded it looks to be a winner! There is no playground, and we did not even see one stroller the whole time we were there! With Dolores park finally getting the upgrades and attention it much needed,it is time to move on to other parks and areas downtown.
So this spring and summer we hope to see you at the Jeff!
Snack time in Alamo square.
