Being on the road as much as we are,we have alot of respect for riders that are riding north. That wind out of the NW the WHOLE trip makes going north the real challenge of biking the PCH 1. As we always tell people if you let it,the wind will blow you to Big Sur,it’s the getting back that is always the challenging ride…That being said,we can not even imaging biking north on Mountain bikes. We give you guys major props and hope you had and awesome rest of your travels!
After lunch it was back on the road. After all that huffing and puffing on the fire road,this road was butter.
Earlier on our trip we stopped at the great Taco bell on the beach in Pacifica.( http://pdbird.tumblr.com/post/29491263523 )There was no way that fat Popi was not gonna stop and get himself some crunchy taco supreme after all that grinding on Devil’s slide! Plus it was such a wonderful day for the deck seating on the beach.
My Popi really likes this picture of us looking down at seal beach. Our time in Big Sur was short but sweet.
