It’s that time of the year when we worry about Patches alot. Popi and I love him and worry about the police harassing him or the rain making his art supplies ruined. He loves to draw and keeping his art supplies dry is always a problem.
‘Homeless” panhandling birds on Haight st.
We saw Patches and gave him a white bread turkey sandwich. He already had his shopping cart decked out for the holidays.

We rode down to Weed rock(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jMSqiHuRAb0) to celebrate the Giants with our buddy Pilgrim. Then the funniest/weirdest thing happened. First this siren went off then the black and orange bridge went up. As the bridge was going up these blankets and trash fell from homeless camp UNDER THE BRIDGE! Hope no homeless dudes had to hang on thru all that.Scary!
Our buddy Pirate Patches. He was so glad to see us back in town and we were glad to see that he was looking good. He even had a shave and shower since the last time we saw him.(And he was sporting that great SF Giants shirt for the playoff run,go Giants!)
We went downtown for lunch and sure enough we saw Patches! He was waaay down by Montgomery and Market. Boy Patches you sure get around for not having a bike. He showed us some of his cool drawings he has been working on lately. We love ya Patches!
