What a great sign the community of Pescadero has. Not sure if this is new or we just never noticed it before. (We could smell the bread from here)
Oh look! It’s a cute little farm stand on the way into Pescadero. Or so we thought. This place was AMAZING!!!!
We have never seen or been here because it sits on the extreme eastern edge of Pescadero(Until now we knew this town for the “Gas station tacos” and rumors of amazing bread at Norm’s bakery)
Cowabunga!!!! Surf up!
Planet of the Apes. This is our 6 th trip over San Pedro mountain this year. Good times!
We got ‘Ele’ back up and running with much help from the Bike Kitchen. We made some kitty liter Panniers too! We could not find the 4 gallon size so we made do with the 2 and half gallon ones instead.
After using these for over 200 miles now we are HUGE FANS and on the next touring bike these will be the front panniers. With the 4 gallons on the back.
If you can get the litter container for free you can make these for about 10 bucks.
Indiana PD (And Bobby B.) Visit the Monterey Presidio in search of the ancient remains of the Ohlone/Rumsen village of Hunnukul. This is the location of the “rain boulder”. We have been very excited to visit this location.
This is a national treasure.
The rain boulder was amazing, sitting unmarked, unfenced, unrecognized by the thousands of people who pass it each year on the way to visit some dumb fort built RIGHT ON TOP OF THE LARGEST SHELL MITTEN WE HAVE EVER SEEN!.
We did not know it at the time but this would be our last big ride with Bobby B. Our time with him was so sweet. We found him a forever home where he can ride a bike and be #CageFree
