On El Camino Real. We stopped to check this sculpture out. During the equinox the sun touches different parts of this sculpture but we really did not understand why.. If you don’t understand it,it must be ART.
We stopped to take a picture of this bike rack designed like a bike when we noticed this great parrot sculpture. It really was awesome. This is on Main st in Half moon bay.
Announcement from SiNs-Fids:
I am thinking of starting up a donation fund for a big vet visit all my birds need in the near future because money has been quite difficult this year and our vet fund has become completely empty. In return I am thinking that donations of a certain amount or more get a picture drawn by me of a bird of your choice as I would hate to ask without giving something in return. I have put two examples here of my previous work with pastels on pastel paper.
Details are yet to be worked out but I will keep you all posted. : )

This talented woman does amazing art work of parrots.. we hope that one day we can get a picture done by her!
Great bike path into town. Even had this great graffiti on the path.
This is Doug Rhodes and the DougRhodes.com gallery in Clarion alley. What a great location for an amazing artist! Drop by and check him out or go online and see his work. Support local art!
It’s amazing who we meet while out and about. This is Davis Hobtetter and his Lovely wife. He was the architect of the the new cruise ship terminal! The building really is a work of art and he assured Popi that there will be plenty of public access and green space.
It was an honor to meet such an accomplished artist. Thank you for the love and support!

Wonderful new(est) Version of the mural on Polk right next to our old place in Lil Saigon. It’s on the Mitchell brothers strip club.
Edit: WHen we lived nearby the mural was different,so this is “New art” But a mural has been in this location since 1977.
“The mural was repainted in April/May of 2012. This time the artists were John Wentz, Matt Robertson, Mike Poland, Lindsey Millikan, Craig Gillooly, Hana Ihaya, Jaqueline Moore, Janet Song, Wythe Bowarty, Karina Svalya, Emilio Villalba, Maurice Sampson, Jeremy Eaton and Joevic Yeban.”-http://www.artandarchitecture-sf.com/mitchell-brothers-theater-mural.html
Back to ‘Civilization” This great bike path ran from the Lexington res to San jose. Mostly off the roads. It was sad to see the creeks turn into concrete culverts again…..
