Pretty great tunes but the highlight of our evening was meeting “Tecate”,a Green Cheek Conure like me!! Tecate is the shit! He got in my Popi’s jacket and we snuggled up and hung out together most of the night. We loved it.
Popi said it was nice to see me with another parrot and that one day when we retire from the #HomeFree lifestyle and settle down that we could maybe expand our flock.
One day in Big Sur we saw this couple at the store and Popi recognized his jersey as one of the jerseys made by our sponsor Free Spirit wear bike jerseys!

Being on the road as much as we are,we have alot of respect for riders that are riding north. That wind out of the NW the WHOLE trip makes going north the real challenge of biking the PCH 1. As we always tell people if you let it,the wind will blow you to Big Sur,it’s the getting back that is always the challenging ride…That being said,we can not even imaging biking north on Mountain bikes. We give you guys major props and hope you had and awesome rest of your travels!

We hung out here next to the road all day. People kept stopping by to say hi and give us stuff. It was pretty magical.

After a long day we watched this amazing sunset and then I put myself to sleep in the bike panniers. Popi thinks this is the cutest.
This is the waterfall at Grimes creek. It takes a little hike to get too but it’s so worth it. Popi told me this is what Kauai’i looked like.
